What a week of numbers.
Not only did we have the annual National Budget Speech by our Finance Minister, we also had the release of the unemployment data, which was reflective of the devastating impact the pandemic has had. Then, the release of the Tourism stats, with a specific focus on accommodation numbers was even more distressing and, once again reflected the operating environment we all are facing.
So, you may say that it was a little depressing, and ask where we are and are, we making progress in these tough and uncertain times? Well, we are. As your Association, our activities for the past week is reflective of the progress we are making for you, our members, and industry partners.
