As we celebrated 27 years of our Democratic Freedom earlier this week, it’s ironic that as the Business Events and Exhibition Industry we remain restricted in our operations. However, we do have movement. Discussions with The National Coronavirus Command Council (NCCC) and the NAT_Joints teams are taking place to consider lifting the current restrictions and move our industry to a 50% venue capacity. This will indeed be a positive move as it will allow greater in-person attendance at venues. The willingness by the NCCC and NAT_Joints teams to speak about this possibility are welcomed.
Presentations have taken place to discuss the possibility around hosting proof of concepts to roll-out this phase of the recovery process. We look forward to sharing more on the current discussions with members as we receive information.
