The SAACI community — you, our fellow members, staff, the board, our stakeholders, and partners — have always known that we are much stronger when we act together. As we continue to navigate new challenges, we understand the impact COVID-19 has had on your business, and our broader business events industry. With the added macro challenges, the world is making unprecedented moves to come together to protect its most vulnerable. It is for this reason that we want to thank YOU, our members, for your continued support this past calendar year.
As we reach half-way into the current financial year, we wish to remind members that SAACI will always be in your corner, whether times are prosperous or not. Thus, we implore those who wish to rejoin the association as members, to please get in touch with the National Office to discuss available options customised to your business’ current operating environment.
We look forward to sharing with members the work we have completed in the last financial year at this year’s Annual General Meeting in the form of a hybrid event, scheduled to take place on Monday, 14 November 2022 from Cape Town. The formal proceedings will commence from 09:00am. Please save the date in the interim while the National Office irons out the finer details for the event which will be shared in due course. The formal notification will be circulated shortly with the necessary reports for members to review and raise questions before the AGM in November 2022.
