As we all catch our breath this blessed Easter weekend, SAACI is pleased to announce the dates for the National Congress – Wednesday, 19 May 2021 – 20 May 2021. Our partner and host city for this year’s Congress, the City of Johannesburg, needs a special acknowledgement in supporting the Congress and driving the recovery process for the Business Events Industry within the City and surrounds.
We also welcome the news this week by the President of South Africa, Mr Cyril Ramaphosa, on the increase in attendance numbers for both indoor (250) and outdoors (500). We urge government to ensure that we maintain this regulation which would allow some much-needed gradual growth for the Business Events and Exhibition Industry.

The updated applications process for UIF TERS is appreciated and shared below. SAACI will provide the required support letters (should this be needed), as outlined in the link provided.
