For our industry, we all hope we have arrived already.
Two Years and counting and we are almost there – to meet, collaborate and engage at Meetings Africa 2022 in five working days’ time. By all accounts and with the wave of optimism of many business and exhibition events taking place, coupled with small incentive activities happening or planned to happen within the 1st quarter of 2022.
It all brings a feeling of goodwill.
For SAACI, Meetings Africa 2022 signifies the activation of the Business Events Industry for Destination SA and aids our collaborative efforts with our partners across Africa. It presents us with a collaborative industry opportunity to check-in and explore how we will keep the forward momentum accelerating, knowing that we have a long way to go in terms of getting back to pre-COVID-19 levels of operation.
As an Association we will play our part in the discussions as well as working in a collaborative way with our partners the South Africa National Convention Bureau and the host City of Johannesburg in ensuring that members are active in driving business to our country.
We can’t wait to see our members and partners in-person.
