The Southern African Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (SASCRS) proudly announced that the 20th biennial international congress will be held in Umhlanga Durban South Africa at the Radisson Blu hotel.

In addition to the Ophthalmology programme there will also be a two-day congress for nurses, theatre personnel and practice personnel. It is our opinion that any nursing staff, managers or assistants involved in ophthalmology will greatly benefit from attending the conference.  Access to the Main Program is included in the Two-day programme registration fee.

An organised trade exhibition will provide the opportunity to become better acquainted with the Ophthalmic Trade and learn about the latest technology and research results.
